Mind-blowing staff, always smiling and willing to help with anything; super clean rooms, cleaned daily within a couple of hours; fantastic location, right in front of the night market and close to many stores and restaurants; jaw-dropping breakfast with a wide variety of options.

We stayed at The Riva Hotel in Vientiane for a week and it was fantastic. The family room was huge, with modern decor and large, comfortable beds. We had two bathrooms with nice showers and hot water. The location was excellent, close to the night market and plenty of restaurants and cafes. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The wifi was reliable, which was important for us as we work online.

Modern room with a wonderful bathroom and climate control, flat-screen television, and a refrigerator. Extremely comfy bed and very helpful staff. Location not far from the night market and the Mekong, many restaurants and café and the Patuxai Monument which is a Massive Victory Arch resembling the Arch de Triumph in Paris.

Comfortable large beds 🛌, satellite TV, climate control, and a fridge available. Great location right in front of the popular riverside night market, and close to various restaurants and cafés.

Staff at front desk speaks English, Lao, and Thai. They must've worked at a language academy rather than a hotel!

Language skills aside, I enjoyed my stay. No complaints.

The Riva Vientiane Hotel is in a fantastic central location, just a stone's throw away from the night market, numerous restaurants, and a Coffee/Tea shop where digital nomads and guests can work on their computers. It's also conveniently situated downtown and near the Mekong River.

The staff were so multilingual, I felt like I was at the United Nations! They even spoke English, Lao, and Thai. Very impressive!

Mosquitoes were practically a pet there, just buzzing around me all day. So thoughtful of them to keep me company.

The value for money at Riva was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, right by the river and within walking distance to key sights. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Tia, the manager.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better were the coffee options.

I absolutely loved my stay at The Riva Vientiane Hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lady who assisted me in finding medicine. The room was clean and well-equipped, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast had a great variety of options, both western and eastern. The location was perfect, right next to the night market and in downtown Vientiane. I can't wait to return one day!
